SYMPTOMS
========
The S3 driver reverses the scan rates when used with a Number Nine
video adapter. For example, if you choose a refresh rate of 60 Mhz,
the adapter will actually refresh at 72 Mhz.
Note: If your Number Nine adapter has a BIOS revision of 1.09.03s,
contact Number Nine to obtain the released version of this adapter.
STATUS
======
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT
Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in the latest U.S.
Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. For
information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the following word in
